That’s why, 120 years after our founding, we’re launching this capsule, then burying it to be released again in another 120 years.

The 120 Year Capsule is buried at Red Wing headquarters in Red Wing, Minnesota, for the boot makers of the future to unearth and release. The capsule contains each boot in the collection, examples of the components used to construct them, and a manifest containing an inventory, instructions, archival context, a lookbook, and a letter to the future.
