Red Wing Shoe Company Museum

Visit the World's Largest Boot! This size 638-1/2 boot made from 80 hides of leather stands over 20 feet tall on the main floor of the Red Wing flagship retail store and museum. See how the company began with a vision by a local merchant to craft the most durable and comfortable footwear, and how it has grown to an international business in 110+ countries.

The mezzanine level offers a rare look at company artifacts including a pair of World War II-era Skytrooper boots. Enjoy a virtual tour through the footwear manufacturing facility and see a pair of iconic style #877 under construction from beginning to end. Check out the Norman Rockwell gallery featuring original art created for footwear ads in the 1960s. The gallery also includes a silent film showing employees making footwear in the 1920s.

The retail store includes many more historic exhibits, including a Puritan sewing machine once used in the factory. The museum is free and open seven days a week, with the same hours as the retail store.
