Rated 5 out of 5 by Great work shoe I had 5 pairs of these work boots over the last 8 yearsThis is a great work boot from Red Wing May 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall good. The comfort level is great with these boots. Had them for over a year. Especially when working on concrete. The lace loops bend when they come into contact with anything that it snags on. But not an issue, adds character I think. If anyone can get with me on how to clean these boots, mainly because I don't know the classification of leather. April 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good, but not great I had an older version of this boot with nylon strap laces. The laces broke. Good news is that Red Wing warranty covered them. The Good: VERY comfortable, well made, light weight, steel shank, waterproof, durable. The Bad: Not all-leather (many construction jobs require all-leather construction), not made in USA, price.Red Wing boots aren't cheap, but its hard to find boots that have the features that you want/need and, yet, have the availability of Red Wings. There are, at least, 5 Red Wing shoe stores within 20 minutes of me, and I can see most models on the shelf and order anything not there within the store. Not so much with competitors. You have to spend a lot of time shopping. Also, I pointed out the steel shank as a pro. I checked out a competitor, and they had very comfortable and well made boots, too, but they didn't have steel shanks. In a work boot? Its like almost a requirement in the construction environment.Bottom line: These boots were my favorite boots I've ever owned. Also, I have worn competitor's boots, but I just keep going back to Red Wing. Well made boots and good comfort, combined with the features I'm looking for and excellent local availability keep me coming back. March 5, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best boot I've ever had. Period... I've had mine for 3 years now in and out of creeks at work still no leaks. You can pretty much climb a vertical wall with the aggressive tread it has. Even after 3 years of wear on the bottom I'd still put them up against any other boot. If you are off the beaten path a lot these are the boot for you. January 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great overall work boot I've had these boots for over two weeks and I've put them through rain, mud that is a foot deep, gravel, and indoor usage on my construction site. They have past every test in my standards and haven't felt any water or anything penetrate the boot at all.The RW store I visited had another pair that I wanted at the time (floor model boot 2240) and had the same ratings. However, they were sold out of those boots and I couldn't wait two weeks for another pair to arrive. To me, that pair was more comfortable and I settled with the 6674s (hiker style) as a substitute. These boots are a great buy but for my personal preference, I am giving them a 4 out of 5 stars for this reason only dealing with comfortability. December 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My only pair of shoe Love this shoe very much until i don't have any other shoe.. November 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not reliable Did not care for this style of boot at all. The first pair I purchased leaked after less than six months of wearing and the second pair I purchased hurt my feet so bad I went back to wearing my reliable 2406's that I've had for 8 years. The boot looks good, but does not seem to wear well. September 26, 2014
