Rated 1 out of 5 by Blisters I have worn Red Wings since the 70's because of the quality and comfort of the shoe. I need the support of 6" shoe because I have bad ankles and I'm on my feet all day cause I work 14 hours shifts in the food service industry. I wear Red Wing boots for both work and pleasure...well the 607A for the price I paid are killing my feet, what I mean the leather is not padded and I get sores on both of my feet and I'm wearing good socks Thorlos Light Hiking Denim - Coolmax Crew Moderate. The shoe that I wore before the sole cracked and can't be replaced and I was told that the 607A was a better shoe...well not for me. Now it I could get a combination of the two shoes, soles of the 607A and the feel of 06683 in black my feet would be all smiles. April 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wish I'd known I figured after spending $200.00 on a pair of the legendary Red Wing boots that my feet would be in Heaven. I was totally wrong. Without exaggeration, these are The Most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned. Every time I wear them I am in pain and uncomfortable until I take them off. I have attempted all avenues of relief, from Gel Inserts to Power Step inserts. Nothing helps -- so I now have a really great looking pair of Work Boots that are sheer torture to wear, so I do not wear them. March 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst pair of Redwings I have ever owned I'm very disappointed in these boots. The are uncomfortable and a poorly built boot. I have had mine for seven months now and they still kill my feet. I have always stuck with American made Redwings but I am going to look around somewhere else next time. February 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Boots I've been using these boots for many years, had them resoled/reconditioned once. Comfortable and well made. A few years ago i picked up a second identical pair that was Gore-Tex lined and insulated for winter use and I've been rotating the two pairs (sumer/winter) since. The insulated pair is snugger partially due to the extra material, partially due to the fact that my other boots are much more broken in. Red Wing customer service is good and a pleasure to deal with. Initial cost of the boots is high but they hold up well. I treat them once every year or so with mink oil and that's the extent of my maintenance on them. January 14, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by best boot worn,in38yrs in beerage industry Going on 8 yrs with the 607:waxed weekly.brushed daily.(yes a bit muchl).to the point they now have a mirror shine.I have the thinsuate version, warnest boots I've owned in 38yrs of work in the beverage industry. A bit heavy, but that's why they last. Being stationary on a forklift, these are the only boots that keep my feet warm in winter. My co workers scoffed at the price. I'll gladly pay for a USA PRODUCT. Now their amazed I still wear them. Keep them oiled, clean&polished, the'll last a looong time. November 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well suited to use on concrete either wet or dry. I have been wearing my RW 607s daily for almost six years as a correctional officer in an aging prison for both cellhouse and outdoor duty. The soles grip well on wet concrete and the boots are substantial enough to take abuse. I like them well enough that I just purchased a new pair and am having the original pair re-soled as they are showing a bit of wear as is to be expected. The uppers have held up very well in all weather with ordinary mink oiling in winter and polishing in summer. Not the best on ice, nor the best on un-even ground, but the trade off is the way they hold on wet floors/concrete. July 28, 2014
