Rated 5 out of 5 by hoot1994oh These boots are excellent in my line of work. I work in a titanium mill. The facility that I work in has dome of the harshest conditions of most industrial work. It is a combination between a steel mill and a chemical plant. I have abused these boots just to see how well the would hold up. From demolition of titanium furnaces and re-install of refractory. There is exposure to hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, just to name a couple. These boots have lasted longer than any other pair of boots that I have worn in this environment. Rated 4 out of 5 by Mattcrouch1502 Good, not Great boot I have had these boots for about 1.5 years and wear them almost everyday. I really like them, they are very comfortable and fit great. My big reason for these boots is that they are not leather and in my line of work (Oil and Gas) that is good. Two things that i am not to happy about is the sole wears seems very fast. I have wore them smooth on both the heal and the middle of the foot. Also the material right over the ball of the foot has started cracking from bending. Both of these items are not enough to keep me from buying another pair but for what the MSRP on these boots they should wear a little longer. September 29, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chugach Metatarsal guard seems too thin Left boot noticeably fit more snug than right. Which is normal I've been told because most people's left and right feet are not exactly the same size. Internal metatarsal guard seems too thin compared to an external guard. Hope I never have to find out the difference. Boots are comfortable. I do a lot of walking on asphalt/concrete and the heels and soles over this past year seem to resist wear better than the ones on my 2230 Red Wing boots which I had re-soled and re-heeled after a year and a half. Boot material is not leather but after a year seems just as durable as my leather 2230. It seems to resist abrasions and nicks better than leather. June 1, 2014
