Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Workboot I work in Industrial Maintenance (20 yrs) and have had problems with a comfortable workboot with first pair lasted 2 yrs working 12 hr shifts in an aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant. It survived all environments (High temperatures, grease, chemicals, paint, etc...) January 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Work boot Wear these shoes daily 4-5 days a week for more than a year, they just wore out (small hole on side by sole of foot) November 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Redwing 6in Safety Boot I can tell these boots are made of quality material and are extremely durable, but they are probably the most uncomfortable pair of safety boots I have ever worn. I've worn them for a couple months now and I'm still wondering when they will break in. October 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Do not use in snow or ice This is a great boot for comfort and durability, the met guard makes it a bit heavy but this sole is terrible in snow and ice. You cannot stand up. I work in Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan and had to buy another brand of boots for the winter months and use these in the spring, summer and fall. September 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great all around boot after getting 4 blisters in 3 weeks with my old boots (admittedly from Walmart) I decided to take a pay check and invest in a great pair of boots, headed to the local redwing store. They measured my feet, and I tried on a few pairs of boots that met my requirements for my job, steel toe, and electrical rated. i wore the boots over the weekend to break them in, the difference was night and day. since I was required to walk several miles a day it really helped save my feet, no more pain, no more hot spots. a great fitting boot that feels much lighter on the foot than it does in hand. I couldn't be happier with my choice. July 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Tread falling apart. The tread is coming apart on the heal. It is like there is a thin layer of rubber molded on to a smaller size sole. Took back to store and they are ordering me a new pair. June 26, 2014
