Rated 5 out of 5 by the boot is awesome it takes about 3 to 4 days to break them in but after you do that they are totally awesome! June 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Heavy duty boot This boot saved my ankle from breaking when I rolled them in a NYC pothole. This boot last 3 times longer then my old brand. June 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by the best pair of boots I have ever worn for work They are a great boot to wear when I am working on the railroad. June 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Getting this same boot for years now. Nice boot.On the costly side ,but holds up well.Has agreat ankle support which is what I need for flat feet. June 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hard working boots I work heavy highway construction so I'm on my feet for long hours and work my boots hard, these boots are the only ones that I've found that last me more than a year, I've tried all the top brands and red wings are by far the most comfortable and long lasting boots I've ever owned. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good boot These boots are great for what I do on the pipelines. The only down side to them is that the laces don't last long at all. Within 3 months of owing them, the laces frayed where they latch to the hooks and rub together and busted on both boots. Other than that, the boots are very comfortable, very good at keeping my feet dry in water, and aren't too heavy either. June 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boots The absolute best boot I have ever had. I have wore them virtually everyday since I bought them in 2008. Now it is 2015 and I can't keep the soles on them so I guess it's time for a new pair of them. March 20, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent for the first year! I have NEVER had a shoe, let alone a work boot, be so comfortable to wear from Day 1! Not only could I walk away never having foot pain "breaking" the boots in, but they are of the highest quality and are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.THE ONLY DOWNFALL is that the waterproofing only lasts MAYBE a year... no more... I took care of these boots and my company only buys them once every 2 years, so I literally had to silicone shut the entire bottom seam to waterproof them after the first year.. Low and behold my next pair had the EXACT SAME problem... yes they are worn 40-50 hours a week, but to have to deal with leaky boots through a Chicago winter is the worst. Imagine stepping into water knowing you have to work all day with wet feet... not fun...I would never consider going anywhere else for work boots, so don't get me wrong, Red Wings is the BEST place for work boots, but don't expect to go more than a year of the boots being waterproof... I am going in tomorrow to spend hundreds of dollars due to the failure of the waterproofing of their boots. January 13, 2015
