Rated 5 out of 5 by ColoradoForester Exceeded all expectations I have subjected these boots to two full years of near daily use, and I am happy to say they still preform flawlessly. The fit and finish is good out of the box, and once you break them in (2-3 weeks) they feel like they were made for your feet. I never expected to have work boots more comfortable than my tennis shoes. My only complaint is the weight, but that is to be expected in a steel toe logger. The Red Wing reputation is well earned, and has led me to buy a pair of insulated boots for cold Colorado winters. Steel toes and the snow do not mix well. Though as a whole these boots preform well in most all conditions and tasks. I have worn them in logging operations in winter and patching roads during the summer- both to no ill effect to myself or the boot. When these wear out I plan to buy another of the exact same pair, if that tells you anything. It does everything a forester, arborist, and ranch hand needs to do. One other thing I love about Red Wing- truly outstanding service. Every time I go into the store the employees promptly help me and are knowledgeable about the products and services offered. Rated 4 out of 5 by Rob73 Great Boot I work commercial construction and side work, I'm on to my second pair of boots. If you like the feel and knowing that where you step, you won't have to worry about slipping. The leather wears well, keeps my feet dry and warm. Went through -30 degree weather this winter, had no issue with my feet getting cold.Only problem I've noticed, is that the soles wear unevenly. I have had two knee surgeries so my gait is different from others, that could by the reason.Great boot otherwise. May 7, 2014
