Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot! This is my second pair of 2211's! The only reason I got a second pair is because it takes around 4 weeks to get them re-soled and I can't go bootless for those 4 weeks. I work around 60 hours a week constantly on my feet going from attics to crawl spaces up to 30 feet high on electric poles in rain, shine, or snow! My feet stay warm, comfortable, and dry. My last pair lasted about two years and just need to be re-soled and they are as good as new! Other boots I've tried took about a month to be broken in and get comfortable, I walked out of the redwing store in my new boots comfortable! January 5, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boots! I have been wearing Red Wing boots since 1980. I am a plumber so they get muddy and wet all the time. Due to the use I have to replace my boots every two years. It feels like I have slippers on. My feet do not get hot in the summer. November 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Well it's a boot, alright. These boots last me about two years each pair. The sole will wear out in about a year, and the leather usually cracks or punctures after two years. Even after that, they're still usable, just no longer watertight. I've had one pair where the hardware (hooks) failed and broke off, but that was probably due to the conditions I was wearing them in. I also have large feet and these are one of the few boots that run in my size with a safety toe, and anything else would probably be either hilariously expensive or hilariously flimsy. All in all, they're a decent pair of boots, if a bit overpriced. September 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by you get what you pay for These boots are tough to break in. Other than that i have no complaints and theyre great if youre on your feet all day. I bought a cheap pair of work boots from walmart before these and i dont plan on going back April 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great water proofing and the only boot to actually keep your feet warm i was a timberland guy once i got these boots ill never go back very comfy and broke in very easy. February 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Never going back. I've been a loyal wolverine boot wearer for the past 22 years. I've tried a couple other brands. This is the first pair of Red Wings I've ever had. I will never go back to another brand of boots. These things are incredible. The break in was easy and the fatigue I feel in my feet and knees at the end of the day is almost non existent. I highly recommend trying this brand. January 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase These boots are great. They were pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The boots broke in easy and are very comfortable. I will be a red wing customer for life. January 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by you get what you pay for. Awesome boot. I put a little mink oil on them to make softer during break in, they are great boots. If you are not sure of your foot size and width, check it as with all boots before buying. I know my feet, and bought the correct size and width, and no issues. As for the boots that fall apart as w the other review, that is important. September 26, 2014
