Rated 4 out of 5 by Quality Safety Boots I've had several pairs of these boots, but none have worn out like the other reviewer's boots. They've been worn and abused nearly every day for a few years, and have held up fine. Perhaps I've been lucky or my environment is not as harsh. They're not the best quality boots for the price but serve their purpose fine. November 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by light and comfortable on my second pair love them , no break-in period , good to go out of the box September 12, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Split sole at 18 months Fits great. But sole split all the way through at 18 months despite decent life left in the tread. Will not buy Redwings again as it seems their premium label is being put on low quality boits. July 3, 2015

Rated 2 out of 5 by Do Not buy these boots- Split Sole - Not the only person this has happened to Just like the other reviewers have attested too, my soles on these shoes have actually split as well. I have had my shoes for a little over 2 years. My actual wear time however has only been about 9 months to a year. I didn't wear them everyday for awhile. Recently I have been wearing them because I walk on concrete floors all day for work and these have been some of the most comfortable shoes for that. However I noticed last week that after I walked in the snow the bottom of my foot became wet. After a little inspection I noticed that the outer sole was splitting right along the ball of my foot. All I do is walk on concrete floors in these boots. Given the total amount of time that I have worn these boots this breakdown should not have happened. This is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY THESE BOOTS!!!! February 6, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sole wears fast. Bought this boot 13 months ago and the sole has split in the middle from side to side clean through. Other boot seems to be wearing better. Boot is very comfortable but for the money the sole wear in general industrial workshop environment doesn't hold up. Since the sole cannot be replaced its a loss for a great fitting boot. Rated 3 out of 5 by Good boot to start off in. This is a very comfortable boot. Perfect height, I have owned these for 2 years. These can not be re-soled. When you are done with these, it's off to the land fill...I drive a fork truck and getting on and off, the step wore the sole out. September 11, 2014
