Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Quality! Purchased first pair, and waterproofing failed after 3mo! Redwing replaced then on the spot. My replacement boots blew then inner heel seams after 3mo, and when I went to Redwing to complain about them I was told that they needed to be send into Redwing for evaluation to determine if they would be replaced under warranty. I declined and elected to continue wearing them.Today (3mo later), I took same boots back to Redwing because of TOTAL seam failure. Best they will do is send them to be repaired, and suggested I get a different style of boot. However, this model is the ONLY one that meets my requirements.I will be getting Thorogoods next !!!! Rated 5 out of 5 by Best work boot I've ever owned! 1st of all the fitting, I have a wide foot and these boots fit great if you go 1/2 size above your normal. I am on my 2nd pair. There is nothing wrong with my 1st pair, I wear them daily for work and have had them for about 2 years now. I just needed a 2nd. My 1st pair has literally thousands of miles of walking in mud, dirt, jagged rock, glass, chemical, snow and ice, and puddles of water. They are non insulated but still even with regular socks keep my feet warm in the snow and cold. The souls wear very slowly and have great traction on pretty much anything. I have stood in 6 inch puddles of water and not a drop leaks through. The insoles are in great shape and show little wear inside the boot after all the abuse I have put them through. The only thing after 2 years wrong is the laces wear out and the top hook eyelets for the laces are loose and need replaced which Red Wing said they will do for free. I have only had the leather treated once in 2 years and its looking a little worn but still no holes, tears or fraying in any of the leather or stitching. Red Wing is also going to clean and condition the leather for free. The boot takes a few miles to break in but once it is it is very comfortable to walk in. An expensive choice but well worth the money !!! December 21, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Disappointed. I bout these boots thinking it would be a good work boot. Felt good and started out good. Well less than six months in I had water seeping in my boots. Got a replacement pair and once again water seepage and the stitching was coming apart. Normally I would get 1 1/2 to 2yrs out of a pair of Red Wings. December 6, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor quality for a red wing This is my second pair of this boot. Both pairs have now failed after about 14 months of 6 day a week wear. The leather is still good but the soles are coming detached in multiple places. Once they start coming loose they fail quickly. Front and sides are the worst. I gave red wing a second chance after the first pair failed but I will spend my money with another company after this. November 14, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by These don't hold up. These boot are not worth the money. They're not the quality boots you would expect from Redwing. October 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturdy Boot As a forester I work in lots of uneven terrain. These boots hold up well and give lots of protection. I have logging boots too but these are lighter and I don't track as much dirt in which has been an issue. October 22, 2015
