Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible boots I am a 45yr old crane operator and have had red wing boots since I was 20 yrs old. I have always chose the pecos pull on boots and they have served me well. I know you aren't going to purchase a pair of red wings and work a 10hr day in them the next day, you do have to work at breaking them in sometimes for weeks. The 1102 8" are the worst boot I have ever owned. Impossible to break the heel in the way someone decided to put stitching on the inside so it tears your heel up. I tried everything under the sun searched the internet for ideas. I will NEVER buy another pair of these boots and don't recommend anyone else waisting 229 bucks on these September 29, 2014
