Rated 4 out of 5 by Durable Western boot, but beware of the tight toe box. I bought a pair of the 1132 Pecos boots several months ago, after trying several different pull on type boots by both Red Wing and other manufacturers. I was amazed at the quality of the leather used in these boots; it is thick and durable, yet pliable enough to remain comfortable. The only complaint I have with these boots arises from the very narrow toe box, which has a nasty habit of pinching the toes with every step. I have tried having these boots stretched (a service which was available free of charge at my local Red Wing store), but unfortunately this has not resolved the problem. My advice: if you have wide toes, consider a model of boot with a much wider toe box, or order both half a size larger and wider than normal.Should you be fortunate enough to find these boots a comfortable fit, you will be very pleased with what you get. The leather is top quality, the boot is US made, and Red Wing's customer service is excellent.I would recommend these to anyone in search of durable, US made, Western style pull on boots.
