Rated 5 out of 5 by This boot was built to last! Picked up these boots in December of 06'. Still wearing them today. I don't wear them daily, but I do wear them frequently. The leather has been conditioned by my local dealer for the last 4 years. The laces replaced annually this time of year. The boot has held up to many conditions and keeps me on my feet. Along with the quality boot, you receive great service. My dealer in St. Peter's missouri helps you decide what boot would work best and why. The guy knows his stuff, he has owned and operated his store for 30 years. Overall great product, I hope this boot is still being produced when I need a new pair. November 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the Best In my work field of custom homes, I go through work boots on a yearly basis. I bought my first pair of these boots and they have far outdone anything else I've tried. Every other boot I've bought has come apart at the sole or the seams. Mine are so used that the sole and leather has finally worn through. Unbelievably, the seams aren't even starting to separate! Hands down the best boot I've had. 100% Satisfied! October 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The best boot I've owned Bought this boot in 2008. Really comfortable and I'm still wearing it. October 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm still on my first pair! In 2008 I bought my first pair of red wings and it was this boot, immediately I was impressed by the comfort but 6 years later I'm still wearing the same exact boots I bought back then and they're still comfortable and I've wore them almost everyday! Obviously they're getting worn after 6 hard years but the fact that they are still holding up and are still taking care of my feet without any inserts is amazing! I recommend these boots to everyone I talk to! June 25, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by not as impressed as I was hoping to be First let me say that the left boot is by far the best boot I have ever owned. The right one, however, has been plagued by problems. First, once I started wearing the boots the right one started to rub/press very hard into the top of my foot, right beneath the second eyelet on the left side. It was pressing hard enough to start making my foot sore. I ended up taking a woodworking clamp and compressing the leather in the problem spot. After two overnight goes with this the boot feels much better in that spot. The second ongoing problem I am having with the right boot is the insole has begun to delaminate. The cloth upper part has pulled away from the rest of the structure. I have tried using contact adhesive, but with the sweat generated during the day it just will not stay down. I would have gladly taken the boots back to the store and exchanged them for the same style, but I unfortunately bought them while on a trip out of town; the drive there and back would cost me more than the boots. The overall quality is rock solid and I probably just got a bit of a dud, but for the amount I paid for the boots I really expected better. May 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent durability Boot fits excellent. Compared to cheaper boots - this boot lasts much longer. Even though the purchase price is higher than cheaper boots, you will save money by purchasing a boot that lasts much longer. Working in greasy, dirty manufacturing environments requires a good boot for safety and productivity. Easily worth the money if you consider yourself a professional. Also a classy looking boot for the front office/boardroom. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Real comfortable boots These 6" boots are the most comfortable boots that ever worn ,right out of the box. They are a little on the pricey side but they last a long time so it evens out. Excellent lug type sole & nice leather uppers. They're made in the USA of foreign & domestic materials. If they weren't made in the USA , I wouldn't pay that much for them. April 10, 2014
