Rated 3 out of 5 by tear outs The soles are phenomenal, can't get past how long they lasted. The problem I had was with the sides, about 2 months ago I noticed the stitching at the top inside of the boot coming undone on the right one... figured I could live with that as they were 10months old. then I noticed on the outside of one of the boots either a small tear or where the leather was separating from the sole. Figured it was about time to grab another pair as they had lasted almost a year. Now both boots have the stitching coming undone. For the price I think I can do better on the next pair. These I purchased at the local redwing store with having my foot measured by the salesman, and they fit great. So the fit was good, my work isn't that stressful on boots, lots of walking mostly. Maybe it was the pair, but with as much selection as there is I wouldn't really recommend these for construction use. October 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Work Boot One of the best work boots I have ever bought and wore. I have had these for over a year and wear them 5 days a week doing maintenance work. Walk on all kinds and floors and in environments. Boots have held up 100%. Can't beat the value either. June 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb quality I am on my third pair of work shoes in the past 12 years. I am about to purchase another pair since I have worn the heels of this shoe out. I had them resown under warranty about 3 months ago to try and extend their life, well even though the seams and the leather is good, I will need to replace them due to the condition of the soles. These shoes are well worth the money spent since they last so long. These shoes, as I stated in the title, are of superb quality. Thanks Red Wing!! February 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Quality I wear these everyday in an auto shop. They lasted two years, over twice as long as any previous boot I have had. February 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Notch quality and fit. This style is one of the best fitting I have ever owned. Love that it comes in my difficult to find size of 8.5 E2. Typical top quality Red Wing manufacturing quality. Expensive but worth it! December 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Footwear Masterpiece. The rugged construction and use of layered leather told me immediately, these were quality boots. They were a gift. I've worn them for two years. Incredibly durable. I was as proud to wear them as I was impressed with their quality. I sorely lament that lost them yesterday, on the bus. It truly hurts my heart, because I cannot afford them.
