Rated 1 out of 5 by TomBob Lumpy Footbed I was severely disappointed after trying a pair of these shoes. I have a wide food and have worn Red Wing boots/shoes since I was a kid (50+ years). I can honestly say that these were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes in my size that I've ever tried on.I need a pair of sturdy, durable shoes to wear around the house and yard for work. I've been wearing a pair of a competitors 4E (H at Red Wing) "cross trainer" gym shoes for this purpose for about five years, and they are wearing out. When I saw these shoes on Red Wing's website, I was excited because they seemed to be just what I needed. Based on the only review at the time, I felt these would be perfect.Although nominally an "H" width, they shoes felt very narrow, and they felt lumpy on the bottom of my foot. When I removed the cushioned liner, I could tell why. The foot bed was LUMPY.Wow, Red Wing. Terrible Quality Control!!!!! May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Adam Phenomenal work shoe This work shoe is exactly what I've been searching for for years. Light weight durable easy to get in and out of, fast to change socks or get rocks out of my shoe, and thanks to the Boa technology, which is the only laceup sytem ill ever use again for work, I can get an even fit and tighness on each shoe every time. I've had these shoes for 3 months and have put well over 250 miles on them. I'm a driver for UPS and walk 12-15 miles a day. They still provide maximum support and comfort. Perfect for walking on concrete all day. I highly recommend the Redwing insoles too. Those complete these shoes. If they ever decide to pull these from there line up I'll buy 10 pairs to last me the rest of my career. Couldn't be any happier with these November 15, 2014
