Rated 4 out of 5 by Chris31 After two days break in.......comfortable! It took some breaking in. Rubbed my big toes raw for two days, but after the leather softened up and creased..... It lives up to the Red Wing comfort. Quality of the shoe is amazing. The finish will tarnish a bit but you can tell they are the real deal leather. I'm on my feet all day, hard concrete floor.Only complaint is........that they ARE NOT made in the USA!! October 3, 2014

by Michael Soles keep cracking across the width I like these shoes because they're comfortable but this is the 2nd pair that I've had fail in this very strange way. For some reason, the sole of the shoes are cracking across the ball of the foot. At first, I thought it was just a fluke so I bought a 2nd pair...NOPE, not a fluke...It happened again.Based on this happening twice, I just cannot recommend this shoe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clint503 Great shoe Had these for 4 years and it is finally time to replace them. I spend half day at desk and half day on my feet. By far the most comfortable shoe i have ever had. I did not have any trouble breaking them in. Ready to get another pair. May 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Murphy9090 Not for warehouse personnel!!!!! I purchased these shoes from a Red Wing Store and the salesman informed these would be perfect for my new job. I am now a warehouse manager in charge of three different warehouses. Therefore, I am on my feet all day long and walking on concrete. I have been wearing a pedometer to work and I average between 5-7 miles a day walking. I know it is a tall order for boots but we are required to wear something more upscale than tennis shoes, and of course we have to have a safety toe.At first I was pleased somewhat and dealt with the harsher than usual break in. After a month I was hoping for the "legendary" Red Wing comfort. I never got it. I have now tried two different styles of insoles (Superfeet and Red Wing Moldable) at the cost of $100 and have received some relief. However, I dread placing my feet into these painful boots anymore and have suffered a foot injury while wearing them. I even contacted Red Wing about the break in period and never received a response. Therefore, I have begun looking for something completely different to meet my needs. I was told by numerous people to purchase Red Wings and I would never regret it. Well I am guessing these are not the Red Wings they were talking about. April 28, 2014
