Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Shoe I bought this shoe for it's safety toe and modern style. After a year of owning these shoes, they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. I would recommend these shoes to anyone seeking a stylish comfortable shoe. November 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Loved them at first I have had these for about seven months. My primary reason for selecting this shoe was the slip-on feature. I was tired of lacing up my steel-toe Red Wing boots every morning. I also liked the stylish look, especially since I work in a professional environment (needed a reinforced toe because of moving computers/printers/monitors/etc).Look-wise the shoes are still in great condition. As time goes on however, they are feeling less and less comfortable. The upper leather seems to be holding its form and hasn't stretched much but the cushioning under my feet is wearing down. Hopefully some inserts will take care of that. The sole has squeaked on waxed floors since the beginning. The Red Wing store I purchased these from is carpeted so I didn't think about that being an issue when I selected these. It's not the worse thing in the world but you will definitely catch people's attention when walking down the hallway. My biggest gripe though is a squeakiness in the shoe itself. As the shoes have worn in, they started to squeak with each step, regardless of what kind of surface I'm walking on. I can't tell if the noise is coming from the inner materials of the sole or where the sole meets the leather or what. It's almost sounds like the shoes are wet when I walk. They're good shoes overall but after seven months they're starting to show some signs of age. October 28, 2014
