Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding boots! Let's start off by saying I'm not one to write reviews, EVER. After wearing(let's just call them) lax boots for 3 years, in a similar style that bound up around the heel and caused great discomfort. I'm in love. I'm picky as can be about my boots cause I have a bad back. These are the first pair that I have cleaned religiously every day after work. I work 290 days a year and work 15 hour days. I wore these last winter in -10deg weather in Nevada, and up until the end of April here in Arizona. It's stood up to drilling fluids, let me stand in 1 foot of water with dry feet(no joke), and kept my feet comfortable up to 85deg outside anything more than that it's time to clean oil and tuck them away till next season. Granted these are some of he most expensive boots redwing has they are by far the most comfortable, reliable, and work ready boots redwing makes. May 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I wish I could gets this in womens I love these. I just wish they made them in womens... hint hint.. work in materials construction, require metatarsal puncture resistance with the steel toe. Work in rain, snow, triple digit heat. I love the warmth and dryness they provide. They do run large and wide for Ladies. All the guys I work with are getting them now. February 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeded my expectations. This boot is awesome, I wear it every day the temperature is below 50°F. Warm and dry, plus supportive and comfortable, pretty much what we all want from a piece of work wear for the feet. My job carries me from the mountains to the ocean and from fresh water to sewage. Nothing but praise and respect to Red Wing on this one. February 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great while on the Bus So I'm a paramedic, I bought these boots for increased protection while at work. Though they do look like structure fire boots I wouldn't trade them for anything. Great in cold weather, rain, deep water and onscene of MVC's. Toe has held up against various ding that my other boot a thrashed by. Great ankle support, though taking these big boys off can be a bit of a hassle. So definitely need some lace in zippers if your need these puppies off quick. Break-in period was not as bad a I thought it would be as these are not my primary wear boots, for me it took about two weeks of on and off wearing. Over all I might get a strange eye from co-workers and fire fighters may drool over them but I love these darn boots. January 11, 2015
