Rated 5 out of 5 by Garrett Best boots I've ever owned When you are on your feet 60-70 hours per week in all types of environments, having the right footwear is essential. As a refrigeration fitter, in oily compressor rooms, on hot roofs, on ice and snow covered roofs, on wet rubber roofs, in the dirt and mud, these boots are awesome. The non-slip soles are great on wet, oily floors and wet ship's ladders. The insulation is great, my feet stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer on a hot roof. My feet stay dry standing in 2 inches of water and the steel toe has saved my feet a couple of times in the last couple of years. I have had these boots for 2 years now and they are still in great shape. I expect to get at least 3 years out of them which should be expected for the price. Oh, and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn by far. I would highly, highly recommend these to anyone that can afford the investment!!! April 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by chili boots are worth the money It was a tuff decision to spend this kind of money on a pair of work boots the first time .after trying them on it was worth it. I wore these everyday for up to 10 hours and not only are they comfortable but they lasted 3 1/2 years. I just bought a new pair today..if you have to buy a new pair of boots every year you,re going to spend more than $300. I recommend getting the red wing boot bumpers to prevent holes on the outside toe of the boots. the best work boot I ever bought.and they're made in the U S A July 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by aland 10,000 hour update. I wear my boots every day at least 14 hours Monday through Sunday. I usually buy boots in the 100 - 150 dollar range. I expect (and average) 6-8 months out of my boots. These boots were the first pair I've had that lasted longer than that. I have had these boots 2 1/2 years. Finally wore through the sole completely. They do not breath well but insulate okay. Overall I was very impressed. I will not likely spend 300+ dollars on a pair of work boots ever again but if that's your budget these stand up to the test. I weld regularly, work at all angles on the ground, in all terrain, all weather, and on ladders up to 36 ft for hours. (Then there's all kinds of oily side jobs after that) I've had many different types of boots and these work as hard you do. May 6, 2014
