They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and I have worn logger all my life. These are my first pair of red wings . Will never buy anything else the local store was knowledgeable and friendly just a great experience April 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Savage270 4420 model logger these boots hold up well going on 3 years of hard wear and tear. I cut a lot of firewood so they get a fair amount of abuse I rub mink oil in 1 time every 6 months for the last 3 years they dont leak. Feet stay warm and dry in the winter months here in North Central Pa. Heel wear is good I've had carolina and geogia boots the heel wore off on a angle. Over all its a good boot for working in the mud and snow good traction all on terrain February 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by kraftsix water main repair crew I'm on my 4th pair they stay waterproof for two years. They last 5. I literally stand in 3 to 8 inches of mud and water everyday sometimes for several hours at a time. working broken mains, warm in temperatures as low 8 degrees. When your standing on the street, your back won't hurt. If you work in underground utilities they are the perfect boot. I'm 6 foot 140 lbs and been working in water for 10 years, a little heavy but worth the weight. February 13, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by bignick good boots except the waterproofing I bought this boot and within a month they leaked but Redwing kept their word and gave me another pair and that pair leaked a month later. It's now been a year and I'm on my 5th pair all from waterproofing not holding up but Redwing did give me a new pair every time but it's very inconvenient to drive down and get them water tested and then break in another pair of boots. I'm giving it 2 stars because they leak but other than that I love the boots they hold up well in dry conditions. I do excavating so they have seen it all January 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by beans99 Best pair of boots I've ever owned Finally listened to all the recommendations I've heard over the years and bought these. My feet never hurt or get tired. They stay dry through mud and water and the steel toe never feels uncomfortable. Must have for anything really. December 1, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by dylanv1 great boots i bought these boots just about a year ago. it took a while for me to get used to the taller heel at first, but after about two weeks it felt normal to me. these boots are extreemly comfy, even before i got used to the heel. brake in time was about a week ad a half so it wasnt bad. my only real complaint is that at about 9 months in i wore threw the leather to the steel toe, this will happen with any steel to boot i know but i was just disapointed because the boots still have so much life left in them. i still wear them every day. i just recomend buying the toe guards if you typically wear out steel toes. getting them on and off is also exteemly easy for a 9 inch tall boot. im a volunteer firefighter and i can get these boots off just as fast as i can get my sneakers off when im donning my turnout gear. all and all these boots are great. i would recomend them and will be buying them again. just with toe gaurds this time June 6, 2014

by Judo Blown Out in 1 year After hearing great things about Red Wing boots I figured I would try a pair for work. As a forester in Missouri, I spend almost every day of the year outside in the woods, in all conditions, usually running a chainsaw. I am hard on boots. These boots barely made it a year and a half. After a year I had to have them restitched, because the stitching all along the uppers was coming undone. After that, they made it about 3 more months before I had holes in both pairs of boots on the inside of the foot and the back of the heel. The soles have also worn way more than I expected from vibram. The waterproofing was only good for stepping in puddles. Working in the snow my feet would get wet within an hour or two.I kept these boots clean and oiled to try and extend the life, but I guess it was a waste of shoe oil.I won't buy Red Wings again.
