Rated 5 out of 5 by Widest pair of Redwings I have owned I have been in construction since 1987 and have gotten a new pair of Redwings every year or two. Crawling under houses, wet environments and rocky uneven ground are harsh on any boot. I have always had Redwings because my feet are very wide size 10H. These are the first pair that were actually a little too wide and could have gotten 10EEE instead. Still very comfortable boots. The sole is a good combination of slip resistance and durability. This pair is going on about a year and a half. The soles are about due to be replaced but the uppers are still good. November 15, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bad Interior Boot Flaps I do Pest Control for a living, and walk on pretty much every surface imaginable, on a daily basis; from High rise Apts to Restaurants to homes, Factories, Daycares to exterior yards, and such! These we're great boots for non-slip! I tried a couple different sizes, with different socks, with several different kinds of insoles, before I finally got a decent fit, but the flaps on the inside of the boots, which has to do with the Red Wing Waterproofing are a little too thick for me, and they hurt my ankles so much I had to return the boots with the 30 day warranty! I was very disappointed that they didn't work, because I loved the boots, but I couldn't deal with the pain in my ankles!Red Wing - Please make these boots with thinner inside flaps, with Gor Tex, and they would be perfect! Rated 5 out of 5 by Suffered Too Long I suffered with foot and knee problems until I went to Red Wing and got these shoes. I have another pair of RWs as well and a pair of dress shoes. From the minute I put the RWs on I no longer had a limp and could walk without hurting. April 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Comfort, support, safety- might even long term resolve my back problems. It's really, really hard to impress me after being in the Marines. I've been given about 8 pair of boots from the USMC, ranging from 3 different brands. Without using their name I'll say one brand was exceptional. The brand was extremely light, comfortable, durable, and protected your feet. Now back in the real world, working as a plumber. It is required for us to have steel toe work boots so I finally took the plunge and spent the money to get the best out there. I paid around $300 for mine with tax. So far one of the best purchases I've made in an awful long time. The salesman showed me (on the machine you step on) how much pressure I had in certain areas. He urged me to get the orthotics that would naturally keep my arch where it naturally rest, hence taking pressure off of the trouble areas of my feet. having a bad back and knowing the relation in proper foot wear and spinal health I didn't hesitate to spend the extra money. I purchased the heaviest duty boot the make so it is not the lightest boot I've ever worn but it is the most comfortable hands down. After having so many different high quality boots in the Marines I am very hard to impress but will say Red Wing has done just that. Would recommend to anyone, especially family and friends that I care for their health and wellness. Don't think about the money. Just get them. You won't regret it, I promise! March 10, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product is alright I've own these boots now for a year. They are completely falling apart. The stitching on them blew out and I have a bunch of shoe goo on the seams. I did oil them but they shrank. I was walking on hot fly ash and the soles held up longer then my foot could that's about the only good thing about this boot. This boot was super comfortable when I first bought them. I will not be buying them again. March 1, 2015
