Rated 5 out of 5 Comfort, support, safety- might even long term resolve my back problems. It's really, really hard to impress me after being in the Marines. I've been given about 8 pair of boots from the USMC, ranging from 3 different brands. Without using their name I'll say one brand was exceptional. The brand was extremely light, comfortable, durable, and protected your feet. Now back in the real world, working as a plumber. It is required for us to have steel toe work boots so I finally took the plunge and spent the money to get the best out there. I paid around $300 for mine with tax. So far one of the best purchases I've made in an awful long time. The salesman showed me (on the machine you step on) how much pressure I had in certain areas. He urged me to get the orthotics that would naturally keep my arch where it naturally rest, hence taking pressure off of the trouble areas of my feet. having a bad back and knowing the relation in proper foot wear and spinal health I didn't hesitate to spend the extra money. I purchased the heaviest duty boot the make so it is not the lightest boot I've ever worn but it is the most comfortable hands down. After having so many different high quality boots in the Marines I am very hard to impress but will say Red Wing has done just that. Would recommend to anyone, especially family and friends that I care for their health and wellness. Don't think about the money. Just get them. You won't regret it, I promise! March 10, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product is alright I've own these boots now for a year. They are completely falling apart. The stitching on them blew out and I have a bunch of shoe goo on the seams. I did oil them but they shrank. I was walking on hot fly ash and the soles held up longer then my foot could that's about the only good thing about this boot. This boot was super comfortable when I first bought them. I will not be buying them again. March 1, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by The best boot I've ever owned These boots are exceptionally comfortable and warm. I have owned my pair for about two years and they are still in great shape so if you take care of them, they will last for years. These boots are waterproof and warm in the winter and are not unbearably hot in the summer. I can't say enough about the quality, they are built to last and look great! December 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by most comfortable boots ever!!!! very durable shoe, especially the toe protector works great. without a doubt the most comfortable work boots i've ever owned. my feet give it "TWO big toes up..." October 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Summer Boot Choice Works well for the multi-environment that I'm in daily from inside with wet concrete to outside on pot hole filled yard where finished product is stored. Water proofing solid as storm water is collected and treated before release and after heavy rains there are puddles for 24-48 hours around the yard. Supports foot well, comfortable. No work boot is ever light like running shoes, but these boots are the lightest safety toe boots that I've worn. The black material on the toe has kept the leather from getting cut up like on other boots I've had. I'll put them away in the winter for insulated boot in Minnesota winters. September 21, 2014
