Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Boot! This boot is one of the best I've owned and probably the best I've ever had from Red Wing. I'm going on over 2 years now and they haven't gotten one hole or puncture in them. They're still keeping my feet dry and they've taken a beating as well. I work for an electric utility, underground, so I'm on my knees a lot and the reinforced cap is holding up great. They've endured mud, water, cement... You name it. And I've dropped some pretty heavy items on the toe a few times. No worries. They are, however, a bit heavy. But still a reliable boot either way. August 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 3 years and still going after 3 years of heavy use there is still no need for new boots. their still water proof and comfortable. I haven't done any regular maintenance to them or really cleaned them. the only thing I have done is put in new insoles. they are not the lightest boots but are not any were near the heaviest. I hope that red wing has no plans on stopping production on them. as long as they make them I'll be buying them ( when needed). June 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Boot! Lets start with width since i have very wide feet. I wear a 4E in Asics/New Balance and this boot is perfectly wide enough for my fat foot. Length seems perfect as well. These boots are a year old and I wear them all the time. I have shoveled/snow blown 15 driveways, worn these to my equipment rental industry job everyday straight for a year, and taken these on every snowboarding trip I have been on this year. The boots are still fantastic. They look worn on the leather portion because I didn't keep them conditioned and the black scuff proof part is still intact and looks brand new. The waterproof qualities are slightly going away but overall these boots have been great for the year I have owned them. Great boot!!Only thing I would recommend to Red Wing is to offer more 6+" lace up styles that are puncture resistant as we, as a national account, require that our boots be safety toe, puncture resistant and at least 6" shaft. Please Red Wing, answer my prayers! Also, offer them in H width for the fat-footed:) March 20, 2014
