Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable on the ground and pole. (Lineman) ive had my boots for over a year now and still feel comfortable as when I first bought them. I climb wood poles daily, few minutes to a couple hours on the pole. And these boots tough it out. Best boots by far any other brands. July 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Whatever You throw at them ! Weather in the field on the tractor cutting wood in the garage shoveling snow ankle deep in mud I have put these boots through it all !! This is my second pair in 15 years and at 54 these ought to last for a good while . I found Red Wing boots 35 years ago and I have only owned two other pairs one my son took over (877)and the other pair of 2405`s all my sons wear them (3) one farms one works in oil and gas and one well hes still deciding but they are a family boot as red ring is a family company !! Thanks in this high tech world to not given in to shipping overseas I`ll always be a RW customer as long as RW is a American company !! Once again Thank You for the quality and commitment to the American worker !! May 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Long Lasting Well, after 7 years, I finally need to replace my original RW 2405 boots. I'm constantly on my feet; inside and outside and these boots really took a beating. The outsole has finally begun to wear down enough that my wife says I need to order a new pair. I have no plans of getting rid of these either --- they will make for a great back-up pair. Rated 5 out of 5 by No Other Will Do This is the only boot I will buy! Right out of the box comfort and reliability excellent tread wear thick durable leather.Over the years I have bought many pairs with my oldest pair being 12yrs old although I only use that pair for weekends, camping and hunting 12yrs is a long time and they are still in good condition I wear them to this day. on a daily basis for work use I have the same boot in the lace up version and I get 4yrs out of each pair, that is 4 years of hard construction work minimum 60 hours a week. For me Redwing boots are the best all around boot and are the definition of quality, comfort and durability I can keep going. I will only buy Redwing boots period and would recommend them to any one looking to buy there first pair. April 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very comfortable and long lasting I bought a pair of these work boots over four years ago and they are still going. I wear them 5 days a week 11 hours a day and they just keep on going. I thought I was paying too much for them when I bought them but I had no idea how long they were going to last. I had never owned a pair of Red Wings before. My coworkers don't believe me when I tell them how long I have been wearing them. I will definitely buy another set when these finally give up. They are worth every penny. January 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Longest lasting sole The Aztec Super Sole is the longest lasting sole in the Red Wing line. I switched to Justin and Ariats for a few years because of price. My company subsidizes safety boots now, I am so glad to be back to Red Wings. If you have never owned Red Wings be aware that they HAVE TO BE BROKEN IN! Once they are broken in they are the most comfortable work boot. December 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by love them!! i were them everyday and work around sparks and slag and have not had a problem with them. very comfortable and durable. love the sole. November 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My feet are spoiled I work on concrete 12 hours a day as a mechanic and since I started wearing super sole 2.0 my back and knee problems have went away. All day comfort, never leaks and durable there is nothing more I could ask of a boot.I do recommend the red bed to go in them for the ultimate comfort combination. April 27, 2014
