by Jimmy88 Nice and wide work boots. Got this pair late 2015. I had them dyed black and plasti-dipped on the toes. I had to go back once for a second dye coating but they've been perfect since. So far they've made me happy at work with no back pain. In fact I have back pain walking around my house without them and when i put these on to go to work the pain goes away. I recommend this pair to anyone with SUPER wide feet (as mine are) and back pain cause they're good for both.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Soddaddy Great fit until. The boots are great. Nice and wide in the toe and lite. Unfortunately, the heal is very hard because of the rubber sole extending up the back of the boot. I got a pressure sore on my heal because of the boot design. Luckily, I went back to the store and exchanged them before my 30 days were up. If you have wide feet and issues with protective toes these are the boots for you. March 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Roughneck247 Excellent Comfort and Protection I work on drilling rigs and these are by far the best lace up boots I have worn. Very light and Very Comfortable. I recommend these boots to every new hand on my rig and people looking to upgrade. Also has very good grip on the board. October 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by mimo1500 Another great boot I used to wear the 2244, but switched to the 2280 because my feet got too hot in the warm weather. These boots are just as good, but way better in warmer weather. They keep my feet comfortable all year round and the waterproofing has been excellent. The leather will absorb some water but it never touches my feet and dries quickly. These keep my feet more level than the 2270 pecos that I have (A great boot also, but pitched too far forward for my all day walking). I do a lot of walking on metal stairs and concrete all day and the soles are barely worn. The insoles are a bit soft/squishy for my taste so I replace them with the Redbed insoles. It makes for a great combination for me. These boots offer me great protection and all day comfort no matter what I am doing. I highly recommend them. Make sure to get your feet properly measured at your dealer. September 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Emiii Offshore Great boot, has handled saltwater well, although as occasional coat of mink oil helps keep the leather moist. I've actually had the boots submerged briefly in water over waist deep, and held up well against allowing water intrusion when properly laced. Recommended for offshore work. August 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by ArcticDon Like to rate the 2280 higher, however I really like 2280 Electrical Hazard boot, however was disappointed with the insoles that they came with them. The insole fabric began to delaminate from the insole cushsion within two days wear. Otherwise, the boots seem fine thus far; I'm only in to my second week with them. They were generally comfortable from day one. Not as comfortable as the Wolverine 3124 I wore for years until Wolverine discontinued them, and certainly not more comfortable than the Converse then Reebok EH boots I tried; but stil comfortable. For now I've tried some non-acetone spray glue to tack back down the fabric on the insoles. I imagine I'll have to look fo some aftermarket insoles though. Maybe I'll try the Wolverine Durashock insoles in them. July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by dave333 Great light boot! I work rope access on wind turbines, which requires me to be suspended from ropes with my feet hanging for hours at a time. These boots are light enough that I don't have to deal with them falling asleep every 5 minutes. These are my first Red Wings, and I'm loving them. July 10, 2014

by Tpr1634 This boots are awesome Love them, they are worth the money compared to other boots either 6" or 8" like these. I purchased from a Redwing company store so I was measured on a computer measuring machine very cool showed how flat footed I am, now the machine tells him I am a 8.5 to a 9.0. First these are the king toe which feels fantastic and I wear a wide, so I use an insole which they sell so they will take up some volume I think the insole is 3.2 mm. I ended up with a 9.5 wide so much for the computer, I have worn 9.0 red wings in the past but the 1/2 size just felt better. If you never tried the king toe especially if you wear a wide try a pair on your feet will thank you.Comfortable, light and not bad looking either.....
