Rated 5 out of 5 by Cable technician / Installer I had these boots in January, they looked sharp, and were my first pair of Red Wings. By the time June came around, the cardboard under the steel toe had crinkled in the middle and was rubbing up against my toes. It was horrible, my feet felt tired, toes were blistered from the rubbing. I was thinking I was going to have to buy a new pair of boots before 5 months. But, I went to the store where I purchased them and spoke to the manager, and was able get a new pair with the limited guarantee. The other set I got did not have the defect that my first pair had. They are still in decent condition, it's been 6 months later. The only downside, is the sole wears out a little fast. Other than that, they are comfortable and durable, and they look good. I use boot oil to keep them looking new, and it hasn't failed me. January 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by General Contractor tested for over 10 years I have purchased several pairs of these boots over the last 10 years. They are extremely comfortable, they can take a good beating and last a good amount of time. I would highly recommend these boots.last but defiantly not least they are a very good looking boot. I get compliments on them all the time. My one and only complaint I wish they where available in a nice brown tone. At this time to my knowledge they are only available in a Burgundy color, and black. January 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Durable I used to go through 3 pair of cheap boots a year now I buy 1 pair every 2 years. The boots are just right for summer and mild winter days but not when it gets below 0 degrees. December 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great boot, but it does not last in wet environments. I bought this boot based on a recommendation. It only lasted 4-6 months of use. I gave it a 4 star review because it is a very comfortable durable boot for use in an appropriate industry. December 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Plumbing Mechanic Being in the trade and on my feet 10 hours a day 5 days a week, you need a good boot. I've had all different kinds of boots from slip on's to 6" lace, but these by far are my absolute favorite. Whether I'm digging a trench to run gas line or standing in water from a leaking boiler these boots never fail to amaze me. These boots have a short break in period and are worth the price. I would definetly recommend spending an extra money to have the toes dipped. Going on 3 years now constantly cleaning and oiling them and having them re-soled and re-dipped once, I don't think I'll ever wear another pair of boots. Hopefully Red Wing continues to make these boots because they are the best! November 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Blasting Technician The products we use are hard on everything, I have owned 2 pairs of RW's and love them. The only downside is the laces don't last for nothing. By far the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. November 23, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by This is a great product I have owned these boots for about a year now and they are excellent boots except when i go to walk on hardwood floors or tile they squeak under my feet. I have no idea why but it sure is annoying. This would have been five stars if it weren't for that. November 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Railroad Work I have worn this pair of boots for 15 years. The best pair of boots I have every worn. I wore boots all 20 years of Military and 15 years of Railroad. September 3, 2015
