Rated 4 out of 5 by 2235 redwing boot Ive wore work boots for 20+ years and always bought the cheapest I could find.. I finally bought the 2235 red wing and I never felt a boot like this.I loved them from the start. They are the best I have ever had.. I work at a concrete plant and you do have to clean and re oil a lot I work 60 to 70 hours a week. I hate to say anything bad about these boots but the sole only lasted 8 months and they dont warranty sole wear. I thought they were going to be under the 1 year warranty but I was wrong. Rated 5 out of 5 by Red Wing Boots My son works for the IBEW electrical union. I bought these 2235 work boots for him and they lasted 5 years. I bought another pair for Christmas and he returned them to get a more expensive leather boot. They lasted only 1 1/2 years. He now buys only the 2235 Red Wing Boot. The other boots wore out on the steel toe and the solescame apart. July 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Third pair This is the third pair of these shoes I am now wearing. The others have lasted two to three years of day and and day out working. I can wear them through the metal detector at work and still have the toe protection the company requires. I wear sneakers on vacation but take these shoes in case I should have to hike for help. Rated 4 out of 5 by A very good boot I really like this boot. the wear and comfort of this boot is great, i have worn them for about 8 years. the only down fall of this boot is the eyelets, i use about 4 pair of shoe strings a year, the eyelets eat them up. other than that they are a great boot.
