Rated 5 out of 5 by Out-of-the-box Comfort! These are the lightest and most comfortable safety toe boots I've ever worn bar-none! Little to no break-in required and fit my wide feet like a glove. I've onlt had them a short time so I cannot speak to the durability, but they certainly seem to be well made. July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 15 months B4 looking into the Redwing brand of boots I was going through a pair every 6 - 9 months. Once redwing was suggested to me by a co worker I went done there the first chance I got. I was skeptical at first but the sales rep was awesome. I chose the 2234 because the looked good and just felt right. That all took place in the Feb. or March. time frame of 2013. Now it is June of 2014 and I am looking to purchase another pair of 2234 because I have pretty much walked through the soles on these. GREAT BOOTS. I'll be back to purchase another pair. Thank you Redwing Shoes. June 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfort, safety and a great look This is a great light weight steel toe boot for comfort, like wearing a pair of sneakers. The "King Toe" is awesome. I have a large, wide 14-H foot which, until I found the King Toe, had to buy one size larger to fit my toes because of the shape, for example, my other pair of boots are the Red Wing "2223" size 15-EE. I work on an airport cargo ramp in the Northeast United States. These 2234's keep my feet safe and dry, as far as warm, I am not standing in deep snow and I am not standing in one place for too long, so I have not notice cold feet. The one thing I did notice is that the soft leather picks up scratches and abrasions easier than the armor like leather of my 2223's, but that might be the sacrifice for the sneaker like comfort. The company I work for prefers black boots with our uniforms or I would like to try the "3506". For sneaker like comfort with safety and a great look in black, I am very pleased with my 2234's. I have only had them for about 4 months. I wear them 6 days a week about 15 hours a day and they still look great. March 31, 2014
