Rated 5 out of 5 by Sparky72116 Great Pair of Boots I have been wearing Red Wings for work for over 40 years. I had been wearing the 1137 Model because it was a western style boot that with a little polish looked as good as any western boot on the shelf. It worked great as a boot for business causal work requirements but also fit the bill for a boot to wear everyday for construction sites. A little Kiwi polish and it looked brand new again...I switched to the 1101 when the 1137 was discontinued, it is a little harder to break in more like a Western Style Boot but after the break in period it is a great wearing comfortable boot. I like it so well that I bought the steel toe version also and still working on getting them broken in.You can't go wrong with this pair of boots..... September 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Steven Good Boots I have had this pair for approximately a year. they are very comfortable. I have been wearing Red Wing Boots for the last 35 years. I have tried other brands, but nothing wears and last like Red Wing. I work in a chemical fertilizer plant, so my boots are subjected to harsh conditions, so they will last approximately a year or longer, but they last much longer then any other brand. Very good boots and I will continue to wear Red Wing Boots. June 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Jro1 Great boot, but... the heel cup could use some help. The heel is a little sloppy compared to other "western style" pull on boots I wear. Part of it is my foot, but if other boot manufacturers are able to have a snug heel fit on my feet, Red-Wing should be able to do the same. I've been wearing them for a year and a half and will be looking to getting them re-soled so I can continue to wear them. I work indoors standing on concrete floors, walking, squatting, kneeling from equipment to equipment making repairs. The boots are comfortable all day and I wear them even when I am not working.
