10875 Men's 6-inch Boot

If the 877 is the iconic Red Wing work boot, the 875 is a close second. Almost identical in look, it was built to address the work customer that preferred a shorter boot. This 6” style is purpose-built with premium Red Wing Oro-iginal leather, Goodyear welt construction, a white Traction Tred sole and triple stitched quality. In early 2013 the style number was updated to include a “10” in front of “875” in order to identify the style as wholly a part of the Red Wing work line. This style is also available in a custom fit. Years of fitting stool experience have taught us that some customers' feet are not a perfect match. All too often a customer has to settle for less than a perfect fit. Red Wing's Custom Fit program offers a uniue solution that allows you to order a pair of boots in two different sizes. Visit the nearest Red Wing Store to get your customized fit. Please allow 3 weeks for a custom fit order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best casual boot on the market This is the best looking, highest quality casual boot on the market. Not to mention the outsole is amazing. However due to the leather insole I cannot use these boots for work. I stand on concrete all day. Redwing please consider making this boot with factory fitted poron insole. I would buy a pair every other year. January 16, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Boot! Great comfortable Boot even though the laces are now cheap and the Red Wing dealer in Lake Forest, California tells you what you want to hear. December 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Should I re-sole for the 4th time? I've had several pairs of these (along with the 9" Pecos) over the years. I work in roadway construction and the 6" leather is perfect for the work I do. The soles on these are by far the best for working on flat surfaces and hot asphalt. I typically put on my boots long before the sun comes up and take them off long after the sun has set.The leather insole is the best in my opinion, once broken in, it is the most comfortable. I hate buying new boots because my old ones are so comfortable.I have read other reviews about foot odor. With wool socks, you will never have an odor problem with these boots. I live and work in Southern California and a lot of my work is in the desert, during the summer the air temp is normally over 100 degrees F in the shade. When paving, the material we put down is 300 degrees F, and I walk on it all day long. I can tell you that when I get home and take my boots off I have none of that funky smell you would get wearing boots with synthetic insoles or liners. You need to keep the leather uppers oiled, RedWing has great products for doing that. I often spray diesel fuel on my soles to keep hot asphalt from sticking, some of the overspray has gotten on the leather after hundreds of applications, no big deal.My current pair of boots is a little over 2-years old and on the third set of re-soles. They are pretty worn again and the leather uppers are showing their age as well. When you re-sole, I recommend using the RedWing brand soles, they are more $$ than Vibrams, but wear longer.Excellent boots, I will continue buying as long as they continue to be made in the USA. Rated 5 out of 5 by THESE BOOTS FORM TO YOUR FEET!! Nov 2014 I changed careers and needed work boots. It was a no brainer. I was getting the Red Wings I saw my grandfather work in.As with any new work boots the break in process sucks. The primary reason is because of the insole. I had never had an all leather insole and didn't realize what I had gotten myself into. My sales rep told me to stick with it and keep them tight. DO NOT USE INSERTS!!. THESE BOOTS ARE DESIGNED TO FORM TO YOUR FEET!! Using separate inserts prevent the leather insole from molding to the shape of your foot. The second reason was because of how stiff and ridged the toe box is. The first 2 - 3 weeks of wearing the boots were painful. But as I continued to wear them they actually it began to shape and mold to the curvatures of my feet. They grew increasingly comfortable and eventually I didn't even notice having them on. I never had blisters or sores like some people claim, prab because I always wore quality socks or double socks and I kept my laces tight. I can't stress how important it is to GET THE PROPER SIZE in this boot. The best and worst thing about the 10875's has got to be the Crepe Sole. You'll feel like you're walking on clouds and they disburse all impact making every step a comfortable one. But you will pay for all of that comfort. The worst thing about the Crepe Sole is how fast they ware down. After ONLY 1,500 work hours they already need to be resoled. My working conditions are ever changing and I'll admit that I am hard on my RW's. Everyone works and walks different but that's where I'm at with them. The quality of leather is amazing and will bounce back from harsh wear and tear as long as you do your part. Conditioning these boots will never feel like a chore once seeing them after a little saddle soap and a healthy dose of all natural leather cleaner. The 10875's really do look better and better after every conditioning.Spend the money, buy this boot. September 5, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Quality I can't see anymkre After a month of household and light wear, the toe has become unstitched in 2 places and the front of another pair did the same on the toe and sole after 2 months! Sorry to say but after 12 years of patronizing, I'm heading for greener pastures. July 4, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great boot The only problem I have is that the boot has worn more than I would have expected. I have only had these boots for 6 months and to be fair, I have worn them almost everyday, but they look 5 years old! June 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I wear 877 for work and 875 for everything else. 18 years as a union ironworker wearing 877's now with my recent purchase of 875's I truly have a pair of RedWings for everyday of the week. June 18, 2015
