Rated 5 out of 5 by The right shoe for me. I work in the O.R. and I stand all day, in pretty much the same place, not the easiest thing to do. I do NOT wear shoe covers because they are the leading cause of falls in the O.R. I also have never marked up an O.R. floor. Try picking up your feet when you walk. Believe it or not, standing is more wear on the shoe bed than walking is, I never wear out the sole. I get a new pair of these every 12 to 18 months and would never consider another shoe. Granted, they used to be made in the U.S.A. but the company producing them seems to be sticking to the blueprints so to speak.I do however also get the moldable inserts that you heat in the oven for a perfect fit. But keep in mind that I'm 55 and have been working on my feet my entire life so please allow me the extra indulgence.Go Gators April 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This shoes is NOT for kitchen ,food service areas For the over all this shoe is well made, but when you buy it out of the store. There is nothing on the box or attached, letting you know that the black sole are not black mark resisted. The sole on the bottom says slip free and oil resisted.Just would like to share this informations ,so you may not buy something for work that you can wear to work because of the after effect of black mark all over a quarry tile floor in a commercial setting kitchen floor.when i send a email about the concerns of the black marks to Red Wings,I did get a reply, and that when I found out that they was not black mark free ,and they attach the link of the shoe that had that the shoe was not black mark scurf free.
