Rated 5 out of 5 by The best Chukkas available. I'm finally buying a new pair after nearly 20 year. Resoled and refurbished 3 time. Just the best chukka boot. Top notch materials, top quality materials. American made and cant be beat. Although I kinda wish black were still available. But mine were/are brown, and are just great. Will got to the store to order. September 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Great Red Wing Product! I've had the Red Wing 875 (now 88875, not sure why the number change) for more than 10 years and they have been, until now, the most comfortable boots that I've ever owned. They are probably the most classic-looking Red Wing boot, with the moc-toe and crepe sole. I have used those boots for professional landscaping and they have been just a great performer and do not track mud around the worksite. They are holding up well. I also own a round-toe Red Wing boot with a smooth black sole that's excellent. But I wanted to take a step up in style, as I have returned to writing and editing, I also might start teaching English in high schools. The Mens Chukka 595 work boot is yet another fine example of Red Wing's craftsmanship but, unlike other Red Wing boots that I have owned, these were very comfortable right out of the box and required no break-in period. I can wear these all day with no discomfort. Apparently the Poiron insole, rather than the leather one, is the difference. They also fit perfectly in my size, the 10 EE is what it's supposed to be. I thought about getting the Red Wing Heritage Chukka, but the Mens Chukka 595, based on reviews, seems to be more comfortable. Everyone that has seen them has complimented me on them. My girlfriend said, "I can' believe how nice they are." I am a serious gardener these days, too, but I will likely wear my ol' 875s for that, as I want to keep these nice and not scuffed up or dirty. I know that they could take a beating, but I really like the way that they look and want to keep them looking new. I give these my highest recommendation. I love the color, too — matches my bison leather belt perfectly. These chukkas are a great combo of utility and style. They are "Made in USA" and worth every penny. February 20, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Purchased instead of the Heritage version I purchased a pair of 595s over the Heritage version and love them! There is such an amazing quality of craftsmanship in these boots. I wear them when I go out as well as when I am wrenching on my cars. There is almost no break in period with these boots. Red Wing just gained another customer for life. November 2, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great work boot! Same as previous comment, I too have worn this boot for decades. I have them resoled several times before replacing them. I like that they do not track dirt. Comfortable and durable. Worth the cost! April 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoe Great shoe and I have worn this model number #595 for decades. I only wish they came in a "C" width as they did back in the 60's/70s era time frame. I have to buy the "B" width now and have them stretched a little. They are a well made shoe and they last a long time before having them re-soled. March 27, 2014
