Rated 5 out of 5 by I love em I have had mine for 6 months and they show no signs of abnormal wear. I'm sure they will last for another 6 months. They are comfortable and tough. I am very hard on my boots and work in a very harsh environment, at a paper mill, but again they are holding up well. I'll never buy another brand of boot. For me, it's Red Wings or nothing. Rated 1 out of 5 by Lasted three weeks!!! I bought the no longer available 8in version of this boot and it failed with in three weeks. First the stitching on the met guard to the toe lost all the stitching witch then started tearing out to where the met guard plate was starting to come out. Then the side stitching on the inside right boot blew out and opened up a couple of inches. I took the boot back for a replacement and was told that that boot was no longer made and that I bought the last pair of my size. So he ordered me new style met guard boot and glued my current boots together for the few days it would take to get my new boots in. So today I picked up my new and we shall see how well they hold up. If this was my first pair of redwings it would have been my last but I have been wearing them for years and know that they make good boots but not just those. August 25, 2014
