Rated 5 out of 5 by great durability Had these boots for 2 years, working in the environmental construction industry they took a beating. From cleaning oil tanks to shoveling caustic sludge and jack hammering they can't be beat. August 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Boots! I use these boots for in the office for 8 hours a day to working on construction sites for 12-16 hours a day in hot, cold, smooth, rough, hard and soft surfaces. Would not trade them for anything else. Very comfortable, keeps all water out and overall have held up extremely well. I want to get some like this without steel toes (I dont know if thats possible) to just wear for casual as they look like a nice clean boot. Probably going to get another pair soon to just have as a back up pair so I have them for a while. My last pair lasted almost 3 years.I just hope RedWing realizes the fan base they have and I hope they try to keep making their boots as much as possible in the USA! I will pay the price to support that! Thanks,Corporal FehrmanVeteran USMC August 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by comfortable but, not very durable Bought a pair of these from the Red Wing store in Pelham, Al. on July 1, 2014 and am writing this review on August 20, 2014. Paid right at $300 after taxes and the insert that was recommended. The material is already tearing off of the toes and the insert is already ripped to shreds. I find most other brands wear out at about the same rate, but do so at a fraction of the cost. This is the first pair of Red Wing Boots I've owned and I can't say I will be a repeat customer. All of that said, they are the most comfortable pair of work boots I have ever worn. August 20, 2014

Planning on going and getting the same pair once again, I would recommend to anybody looking for a very solid and comfortable work boot! May 29, 2014
