Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome boot Best work boot I have ever owned, being a mechanic, truck driver, welder, have put the boots to the test,They have been in contact with water, diesel fuel, blacktop, and everything in between. I have owned themFor 8 years wear them every day and my feet still say thank you every morning!!! Very highly recommended.. June 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great footwear After 4 back surgeries my feet were really messed up. I tried all different kinds of shoes and boots and I was having too much trouble walking. I decided to go back to my roots. I wore 10877 boots in the field when I was younger so I tried some on and decided I probably couldn't get the 877 broke in with my back problem. I researched these and decided to go for it. These are like a broken in 877. I don't know how well they will hold up but I can finally walk better and feel safe doing it. Try these boots. They mold to your feet very quickly. May 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boot for the money! I have worked in construction for most of my 30yrs living as I have grown up in family owned business. One thing I was taught was never be cheap with your boots and your tools, as you depend on both to make a living. Which is why I am fourth generation Red Wing customer. I used to wear the original crepe soles, but due to my large stature I was wearing them out every four to six months. I have tried various other models of boots, but I tried the 411 about three years ago, and haven't switched since. They are hands down the best boots I have every purchased, and I go through two pair a year. Usually alternating between usage. They last twice as long as the original crepe sole. The waterproof last great as long as you keep them oiled, which for me isn't an issue as I regularly covered in hydraulic oil, and diesel fuel. If you're looking for a light, comfortable boot that can be compared to wearing a running shoe then this is the boot for you. They provide ample traction, the tread is rather mild, so it's forgiving enough for concrete finishers. The flexibility is fantastic for those extended periods when you're crouched down welding. Unlike the super soles which I have melted from extended periods. February 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable Very comfortable for climbing around on the steel, holds up well to sparks from welding and torching. will never turn to another boot again February 7, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality of Life I have worked outside in Michigan, year round, in rough terrain for most of my life (carpentry, landscaping, etc). Prior to this boot, I wore and destroyed several other types of boots and came to the conclusion that sore knees and feet were just part of the job. One day I decided to give in and fork over the money for these high priced boots just too see what happens. Today, I come home with no pain and walk my dog for a couple of miles and I am still pain free. These are all I wear. I have one pair for work, and another for leisure. Well worth it! Rated 5 out of 5 by Would Be Perfect If They Had It In 12 1/2 Bought these recently and they are the most amazing boots I've owned in years.I wish they offered these in 12 1/2 because the 13 is just a bit too large. Two pairs of socks helped. May 25, 2014
