Rated 1 out of 5 by bad soles The soles wear to fast. Melts in the summer. I have the boots still. They wore out of the sides. It could be the orthopedic soles that I paid fifty dollars for. Won't be buying this product again. I have bought them for twenty years. I am done with red wing. August 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product When I bought this boots 4 months ago! I thought that was a little expensive, but I been used and so far I feel wonderful with them. By the end of the day is like when I stared the day!! August 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent boot Just wanted to say that I have been wearing Red Wing boots for a little over 20 years now.Yes...They are pricey, especially the "made in the USA" styles.I have tried other boots that were less expensive but I manage to tear them apart.I don't like to oil my boots but rather polish them from time to time and this seems to keep them looking good and helps them to remain water resistant. I scuff my boots up a lot in my Air Conditioning business, sharp objects, kicking things around, crawling under houses..etc and the leather takes a beating...They are quite stiff at first but after a month or so, they begin to break in.I have to wear a hard insole for my flat Fred Flintstone feet.I would only recommend these boots if you can go and personally get fitted and try them on...I wouldn't ever recommend just ordering them sight unseen unless you have tried them out before. Rated 5 out of 5 by That break-in period though Honestly one of the best boots ive ever owned, ive owned a lot of boots before but this is hands down the best, the break-in period was a little intense but after 2 months it got better now id prefer it over my sneakers, i wear them all the time outside work, they look awesome and i get compliments about them, i love how redwing stands behind their product, i only wish i discovered redwing sooner, you really can't beat American made boots July 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by like a pair of slippers ,super cofortable A++ Boots have great support but yet are super comfortable . great quality means years of service. Never want another brand of boot. I also got my first belt , though it was a little pricy ,but seen how they hold up and am sold. June 29, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Boot for the average worker! The boot is a great fit for the average worker. The sole is of better qulity than most. I like the fact Red Wing Shoes does have very good customer service! June 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Money well spent I have been wearing the boots 4 months now. They are my yard work and home projects footwear. Only a few days prior to writing this review I wore them 18 hours with no discomfort. Wore them 14 hours today, feet feel good. I wanted them because they are unlined-got tired of wearing a hole in the heel area of the liner in my last few pairs of boots(not Red Wings), and having to toss them prematurely. The insoles did not have enough cushioning, so I replaced them. It made a BIG difference in comfort. Not sure why a good insert is not part of the package when you buy a more quality-made boot, rather than the cheap stuff from discount stores. I have applied mink oil to them a couple times. It brings the color and grain back, and keeps them soft and pliable. Water beads up nicely too when the grass is wet or it is raining. I had the store apply the recycled tire toe protector product. Don't think it will last long long-term;already have a small chip out of it. Should have done the urethane instead-did not care for the glossy finish though. June 20, 2015
