Rated 4 out of 5 by Hooks & Eyes I've had these boots for a about 3 months now and I really do love them. Very comfortable and light weight weight. My only complaint is the number of eyes for the laces, there are not enough. A couple of times every week I have to redo the laces and get them back to the same length. I have wore Red Wing lace up work boots for 40 plus years and never had a issue with the laces becoming unbalanced like these do. If they would add more hooks and eyes this would not be a issue.Yes I will definitely buy another pair because I do like them that much. November 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by 2239 Mens 8 inch Boot I have had these boots since the end of Jan. I wear them 5 days a week at work. From the first time I tried them on they felt very comfortable. I personally like a higher top work boot and that is why I chose these. From day one they felt very comfortable and there was very little if any "break in" period with them. I walk most of the day over varied terrain from asphalt pathways to grassy slopes to rocks to river bottoms and they are extremely comfortable. My feet stay warm and dont get to hot with them on either. The only reason I rated the a 4 instead of a 5 is because of the sole. I am not as impressed with this tread pattern asthe original Vibram tread pattern. My logger boots Have the standard Vibram pattern and have done me well over all sorts of terrain. With the tread pattern on these boots I have slipped more than once where I never would have a problem with my other boots. Other than that these are great boots. March 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boot - Light and Flexible I work offshore, and needed a light Boot. This boot fits the bill, it is light, and after breaking in, the sole has good traction. We have many stairs and I spend a lot of time both in the Man-Rider and the Derrick as such my feet never feel fatigued or tight from these. I have not had these around Completion Fluid, so I can not coment on that. They are warm as well, and feel mostly like a hiking boot or tennis shoe. The toe does not get cold like some steel toe boots. The boots also support the ankle fairly well. I do have wide feet and as such the extra width is great. I was fit for these at an actual Redwing Store - which I recommend as well.I do recommend these boots in an offshore environment. February 28, 2015
