Rated 5 out of 5 by New Purchase When the clerk looked these up in her catalogue, it appeared that they were discontinued. When she called Red Wing HQ to see if they had any left, she was told that these are made-to-order. She told me it would be 3 weeks, but it only took 1.They fit me perfectly, but my feet aren't wide, and I was looking for something slim, so be sure to get measured. Also, it may be obvious to some, but these have steel in them, and aren't waterproof nor insulated, so they're not for harsh winters. That said, I expect to be wearing them 3 seasons a year for many years to come. They're slightly reddish, not as red as some of Red Wing's other boots. The leather is stiff like a new baseball mitt, and I'm really looking forward to how these will look as they age! I'm a truck driver, and it will be nice to have something stylish that's tough enough to wear to work. May 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really nice boots Great American made product, tough leather long lasting boots, great investment, wish these had a round toe version, but if you like western toe, these are perfect! January 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by TOUGH WORKING BOOTS I work at a power generating station in Alabama. I have worked endless hours in these work boots over the last eight years. I have walked on every surface imaginable with this pair of boots. Grating, concrete, gravel, coal, ankle high mud and water, metal stairs and metal ladders. One advantage of these pull on work boots is when soaked with boot oil, the boots will not leak and allow the water to seep into the boots and wet your socks.I am going to purchase another pair of these boots tomorrow because the leather on the upper has finally worn through on the steel toe. I have always cared for my boots by brushing them off with a hard bristle brush and soaking them with boot oil after a weeks' work. I highly recommend this 2214 pull on Red Wing boot. Rated 5 out of 5 by Best work boot ever made. I have had mine for eight years. I wear them every day at work. On concrete. Some very nasty chemical exposure. Nasty environment for footwear and they are still going. I look them over every so often. They look terrible but they are still ready for another day. You can not beat these boots. This is what made in USA means. QUALITY!!!. God Bless America. God Bless Red Wing for making and continuing to make a great American made product. Thank you Red Wing!!! July 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Boot I have ever owned These are the best boots I have ever owned. I am on my feet all day long on steel deck. Bought my last pair in 2005 and wish I had the foresight to buy 3 more pairs as they are no longer made in size 14. May 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boot for both work and general wear I was resistant to buy this boot because of the price. Needless to say my hesitation was all wrong! This is the most comfortable boot or shoe I have worn. I am a ex infantry man who wore boots for twenty plus years. I have plenty of Johnson and Murphy shoes as well as Cole Hahn shoes that I wear to work but my feet are happiest at the end of the day when I am wearing my Red Wing work boots. I bought these boots for a deployment to Afghanistan and wore them around before deployment. They look great and shine up nicely. Well I forgot my shoe shine kit when I deployed. After nine months in AFG wearing these boots every day I figure I would need to buy a new pair when I got home as they looked really rough. Lo and behold I pulled out my shoe shine kit and they looked good as new. I am now on year three with these boots and they still are the most comfortable footwear I have. Can't say anything nicer than that.Jason April 4, 2014
