Rated 1 out of 5 by cut my foot I bought these boots for work and within 6 months the internal plastic around the heel wore through the interior liner and was cutting into my foot. I do alot of walking and general maintenance work around the plant. They are a very light and relatively durable boot on the outside but more testing and attention should have been done to the interior materials. January 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is both versatile and comfortable. The 205 Hiker boot is the most comfortable boot I have purchased -- bar none. The cushioning and protection are excellent. I wear my 205s for both teaching -- I am on my feet lecturing for three hours at a shot, two to three times per day -- and for hiking the mountains of the Mojave Desert on geology trips. My 205s are comfortable for the long haul. When my old 205 Hikers were showing a lot of wear from the abrasive rocks I hike through, I bought another pair. I still wear the old ones, though -- they are still comfortable! August 23, 2014
