Rated 4 out of 5 by BIGLEN Great Boot if you understand what you're buying This is a fantastic boot. I love the 8" height and the way it feels on your foot when it's laced up. Great ankle stability too. It's neither too warm or too cold. Runs on the big side. I'm usually a size 12.5 or 13 and the Redwing size 12 fits great.I'm a little concerned how well they will hold up over time. Mine already has some stitching that looks like it will eventually give way. The laces are pretty run-of-the-mill - nothing special. They will wear or break before anything else does. Working around grease or oil? It won't come out of these boots no matter how hard you try -- at least I haven't had any luck. The pictures of this model (10877) on Redwing websites tend to show the boot much more Brown than what they are in reality. They're not quite Orange, but they're pretty darn close. They might be some version of tan, and a very orange tan at that, but they're not brown.Overall a great purchase if they last me 8-10 years. Rated 5 out of 5 by manningt i love my red wings broke in very quickly and are very easy to move around in, great for iron workers. My only concern is the stitching, i blew out the toe and side after only about 6 months. September 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mundo A proud American boot. Im a proud Union Carpenter and It feels good to still be able to buy a good American product, not to mention an American company that will back it's product100%. I've been wearing Red Wings for 7 years and I love the best that not only are my boots comfortable but that I can proudly wear my American flags. Of course they are a bit pricey the only thing i can say is maybe have more discounts or a good black Friday sale on all boot makes and models. Thank you for still building America. July 18, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by duckblindnaps just okay in terms of durability These are really comfortable boots once broken in. They do hold up to moderate wear and tear. This is the third pair of these boots I've owned. It seems like the stitching has gotten worse however because the most recent two pairs I've purchased have blowouts on the toes and sides. Even with frequent cleaning and conditioning the stitching will come apart. Will be sending both pairs in for warranty evaluation, hopefully red wing will stand behind over $500.00 worth of boots purchased in less than a year. June 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by ak47 sole wear I love my 877's. will never wear a different kind of boots! one problem is the soles water out on me relatively quick(4-5 months) June 27, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Russ11 $300 boot/ $5 sole after being assured soles would last for daily (concrete work) bought boots with low tread soles. Haven't lasted 5 months. They need re-soling and not mention stink. Hoped for a great boot after finally taking big money plunge. Disappointed June 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by JacksJack Good... Sadly, not great. I must admit I'm a little disappointed in the durability.. After six months of use some of the stiching has broken and opened up and the soles are completely worn down in some places.. Not something I'd expected after such a short amount of time. For the price I was under the impression I could get at least a year before they would need repair.. June 18, 2015

by Jimbo1980 Great all around boot This boot is great for work, play and going out. They are very well made and the leather quality is phenomenal. After a year of tough wear, these boots are holding up better than any I have ever purchased.
